I've heard of other plants with an affinity for specific soils. Neat! Hadn't heard of this one. Thanks.

Some plants like to grow where uranium is found, others selenium, gold, etc. I see a lot of Indian pipe in certain areas around Southern Nevada especially near monzonite granite. Indian pipe likes to grow on gold beating soils.

A lupine plant will catch droplets of water on their leaves and they look exactly like diamonds with a green setting. We always tease customers and new hires at the nursery, about the plants growing diamonds. Pretty cool looking and pretty cool story.
