Ha Ha! Not during the day...this is a 'man thing'. My husband always insists on arriving when they open the gates so he can get a first row parking spot. Everyone sits in chairs outside of the cars, so he doesn't want anyone blocking his view. We set up then go play frisbee in the grassy areas. Or just sit and talk with friends. I would rather just get there before dark and take a spot available. Oh, I just thought of something, if it wasn't for my husband wanting to be first, I wouldn't have had the time to wander and check out the gravel. Hmmmm. Maybe I need to rethink this Yep The Y chromosome helps you find rocks... but in the round about way that only a Y can do.. Mixed blessing and curse. grin Yep need to feed the ole Y chromosome a big lasagna for getting you there early enough to find rocks. Besides the kids wear down some and you guys can actually see the movie not lke when you were a young couple and don't even remember the movie's name.. grin..

I remember you serving as the tug boat in the front kayak fantastic5 . It was the tail wagging the dog, the load was sorta controlling you. But it all worked out. You took pity on us: Ah, that operation works well if there is more than two kayaks. Two is unstable, three is easy. Have pulled 4 before. On the Amazon there are fishing outfits that pull a long string of bass boats with a cabin cruiser. Fisherman sleep and eat on the big boat. No big boats can navigate the Withlacoochee when the water is low. If they could there would be too many people on it. Those Go Devil's are like water tractors. Slow but have good pulling power. Y'all were an easy payload.

You know you're a rockhound when you have a half ton of rocks sprawled out across the living room floor. Half ton on the living room floor?? Must have cleaned up and bucketed some stuff huh??? grin.. Nothing about not seeing the kitchen counters for weeks and weeks. Rocks on top the washer AND dryer..
What is a counter if not a place to put rocks? Murphy's 1st Law of Household Geometry: Any horizontal surface will soon be piled up. Murphy's 1st Law of Household Geometry Geology: Any horizontal surface will soon be piled up...with rocks.
