I have always felt that those of us unable to have a beard are more highly evolved.

A cowboy hat without facial hair just don't look right to me but the Duke did sell it so what do I know. I ain't been without facial hair of some sort since college but I did give up the long drooping mustache bandito look I liked so much when a reporter wrote a story about me and forgot my name. She actually wrote down my name was Mex *L*. I imagine good looking Mexicans everywhere were appalled....Mel
PS: I had a grandma that was hairy as an Ewok.

My sweetie rarely completely shaves. He always has some form of facial hair. (I've seen him clean shaven twice, I think.) He's a really hairy guy. He's called The WookieButt. Here he is with his beloved tarp hat.

I'm like my dad's uncle, he shaved every week or 10 days whether he needed it or not. Facial hair, yup I've got some, all seven of 'em.

He looked long and hard for just the right hat. It's all broke in now and looks even better.

The "forgotten spot below the lip" isn't really forgotten, it's missed because people don't get their eyes checked/glasses adjusted regularly.

Back in the day, had a mustache. Then again, don't most firemen? In the early 90's I shaved it off and never looked back. We couldn't have a beard or goatee as facepieces for breathing apparatus don't seal well.
I've never been a fan of beards, so my wife shaved hers a while back. (I kid)
Lot's of guys I worked with started growing facial hair upon retirement. Must be some sort of rebellion thing. I'm still clean shaven. I shave every day.
And, I wear a cowboy hat every now and then.
Dave
