Hobo the Wonder Dog does not like fireworks, but instead of cowering or shaking and wanting someone to comfort him, he hears fireworks at night, which are legal in the city of Chino, and takes off outside like a bat out of hell, to read the culprits the riot act! Hilarious! I can just imagine him cussing up a storm if he could speak human!

LOL awesome picture. Whoever put the sign up needs an education on dogs. The leg comes up when the leg comes up. End of discussion.
From the time Charley was a pup we exposed him to our target shooting in the desert. He's been around our AR-15 activity and lots of handgun 9mm shooting - and even some 12 gauge. My point is he doesn't really care about fireworks other than knowing it's a noise that isn't normally there and he will bark at it a bit to protect his realm.

Hobo has always naturally hated noises. Couldn't break it. He's 13 now. No sense in trying. I let him get mad. Lol

I had a black and white shitzu that wasn't really bothered by fireworks. He always judged things by my reaction. Since I wasn't afraid, he wasn't either. He and I were very close!

I had a dog that I really had to watch close when fireworks were being fired. That dog considered it his mission to grab any firework before the fuse ignited the firework. Here he is attacking some fireworks . . .

I had one lab that was fine with guns, she knew they brought down birds to retrieve. She was very afraid of thunder and fireworks. Vic

My terrier hides under the bed when there are fireworks...Not much of a brave terrier. The Shih Tzu barks at them.

We have a new puppy, his name Jasper. I wondered how he was going to take the 4th. He did not even flinch he just sat and watched the fountains burn and the artillery shells booming up in the air,and a dozen or so m-80's. I thought for sure the m-80's would get him,and nothing. Even thunder he don't care. I think he is so chilled gotta love him.
