I bought this tumbler used, ran it for 3 loads over a couple year span before the motor died.
I think it may be the predecessor to the Thumblers A-R2.
I ran it with 2 Lortone 3lb barrels.
The last time, I ran 60/90 grit for about 10 weeks, stopped it & let it sit for a week or so.
When I tried to start it up again, the motor was frozen.
I did what someone on here advised - soaked the motor in mineral spirits, but that didn't revive it.

I've disassembled it trying to figure it out, but I think he's dead, Jim!
So I guess I'll buy a replacement motor
From this pic, you can see that it's a Dayton model 9M481 - 1/100 HP, 1500 RPM, .62Amp motor. No longer available.
I found several options on Zoro.com that all have similar specs, but different prices.
Being the cheapo that I am, I'm hoping the cheapest of the lot will work ($26.73).
Any advice or experience with any of the following motors?
Dayton 3M535 1/100 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .70 Amps, Zoro # G2335706 $34.28
Dayton 4M193 1/50 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .90 Amps, Zoro G3035855 $33.60
Dayton 3M542, 1/50 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .80 Amps, Zoro G1751084 $26.73
Dayton 3M534 1/100 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .70 Amps, Zoro G2844362 $43.92
Dayton 4M213 1/100 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .60 Amps, Zoro G0628573 $52.70
Dayton 3M558, 1/100 HP, 1550 RPM, 1/4" shaft, .65 Amps, Zoro G3248874 $48.21
TIA
