CraigslistI spoke with this very nice older gentleman yesterday and determined that I was not interested in his items, but told him I would post here to increase his exposure. First of all he doesn't know how to get pictures uploaded from his camera. But I can tell you more about the items per our phone conversation. He used the equipment decades ago for about a year and it's all been in storage ever since. He has tested everything and it all runs. Beacon Star Cabbing machine - two grinding wheels with a third ?expanding drum?. Also has the flat end plates. He has the pads for these. Beacon Star 10" Vibrating Lap Lortone 10" slab saw. Auto feed runs, but the plate slips. Plastic clear lid is intact. Lortone single barrel rock tumbler. Unsure of size - he thinks its a larger size.

Doubt it's an expanding drum on a machine that old. Probably a bump wheel. Easy enough to change out to an expanding drum tho. What sized wheels 6" or 8"? - I would want 8" myself, but YMMV
I don't consider a 10" vibrating lap worth having. SMALL pan! If you are going to the trouble to get polish stuff on a vibe lap, make it worth your while and get at least a 15" pan. 27" would be better! But they take up a boat load of room and are noisier.
ALL for 800 bucks though is still a deal and there may be money to be made keeping what you want and parting the rest of the lot out. Figure the saw and the cab machine are worth $400 each and go from there.
Someone up that way may want to check that out!
