Came back early from our trip to Stoddard Wells and the Cady Mountains. Had a great time until attacked by a flu bug Saturday morning and we decided that a hike in the rain was ill advised. Have to continue the Cadys part of the trip in a week or so. Meanwhile, here is the third installment of recent cabbing adventures... Starting with an Arizona Copper complex with cuprite, azurite, chrysocholla, malachite and the blue at the top right looks like turquoise Imperial Jasper (Mexico) Hijo Del Sol, also Mexico Graveyard Point Another Mexican agate, but location is a mystery. Bought it at Stoddard Wells a couple of years ago for the swirly colors and plumey structures From a Lucky Strike thunderegg core Indonesian Palm Root (this was being sold as something else, but I'm pretty confident it's palm root) Snowy mountains in Australian Mookaite Riviera Plume...another Mexican favorite A pair of Singleton cabs. The yellow plumes are hard to find (at least for me). Some in this rock appear almost pale green Silver gray to blue to black And Royal Black agate from Mexico Hope you enjoyed. Thanks for looking. Fabulous cabs! I'm in love with the purple-ish Mexican agate.
