I've been using this method for polishing cabs and slabs in a vibe with very good results . I put in the recommended amount of borax , then add 3 drops of Dawn dish soap and get it moving for a few minutes . As you can see it gets pretty foamy , so don't overdo it with the Dawn . Then I add the polish to the load and keep an eye on it for a couple hours to make sure it isn't overflowing with foam . I use small and big ceramics for cushion and hauling the polish around . Since adding Dawn and foam , I don't have problems with slabs sticking and staying together . And I see a film of polish spread across the slab when they are moving around in there . Works good with all the grit cycles also and I get uniform grinds and polish . Different vibes will surely take different amounts . The one in the pic is a Gy Roc model A , in my model B I only use a drop or two of Dawn . I just started this load a few hours ago , if I get a chance tomorrow I update this and show the results . Thanks for your time .

This looks like a good mix of media and material. Does this unit have a top?

I add a little water when I notice slices sticking together in my Lot-O. Gonna' try using some Dawn in the next batch.

The grit or polish floats all over with the foam . If ya try it , be careful not to add too much soap . One extra drop will make an uh oh real fast .

Try to get a drop or two but the bottle has other plans . I do the same pre rinse cleaning and a post rinse wash cycle , only a few minutes each though .
