I bought a polished nodule earlier this year at a rock show that was labeled Madagascar flower agate. The vendor a had about 10 of them and they looked cool on the outside so I asked what they look like inside. He said he did not have any idea so I gave him the $16 for the one rock just to find out for myself. I think the outside is better then the inside but by cutting it I get to see both. The Montana agate is my favorite of the batch and I would be willing to bet that I have been looking at that rock for at least the last six months at every weekly stage one clean out. The other rocks in the batch were not too shabby either. Madagascar flower agate Montana agate Picture jaspers Bahia agate Tiger eye Thanks for looking Chuck

Chuck I, unfortunately, can't make the same claim about turning this stuff out in short order. No loto yet. The loto is an evil tool that requires 3 pounds of stage two ready rocks every 7 days to stay happy. My entire stage one process has been customized to keep it fed. As for the Jasper I think that stuff would be a great material for beginner tumblers. It does not take too long to shape and it takes an easy shine. Good color and patterns are a bonus. Chuck

I love that Madagascar flower agate. I would never have guessed what it looked like inside. Is similar to the Brazilian agates that Randy tumbled a couple years ago. Orby on the outside and banded on the inside,

Gorgeous. My faves are the flower agate (love the exterior flowers combined with internal banding) and the two picture agate closeups.

Orby on the outside and banded on the inside, I think with a little work I was able to turn a $16 rock into two $5 rocks. Really over paid for that one but it was fun to cut open. Chuck

The agates are fine but I'm partial to the jaspers myself. Have always liked the blue, blue/green color in those "Western Jaspers". Totally agree with you as to being a good choice for beginners.

The flower agate is cool. A stone like that cut in half would make two outstanding double sided cabs.
Of course, the rest of the batch is awesome, too, and I love the Montana!
