This material contains both very hard green and white areas that are not scratched by a file but some other white areas that are scratched. The hard material easily scratches a softer white tile and the file marks on the stone are easily rubbed off. There was no difficulty cutting the stone on a trim saw or shaping the basic shape on a 60 grit flat lap with little chipping. I have included several pictures and one that shows the break pattern. My intention is to dome and finish in a vibe. Thanks for any help in identification. It does have a real jade look to it. Some of the Porterville jade looks a bit like that too....Mel
