There have been quite a few dino fossils from that area (and some come on the market for sale at high prices). There are some better photos of precious opal fossils HERE and HERE. Would love to come across just one of something like those, let alone a herd, but with my budget will have to content myself with Virgin Valley limbs

@rocks2dust and parfive, thanks for the additional info. I was aware of the opalized plesiosaur, clams and other opalized bone finds, but not of terrestrial dinosaurs.
