Picked this up at a rock shop in the bargain bin , so no idea of its origin or what it is . If someone could put a name on it , I would appreciate it . I took about 7-8 slices of this side , This is the other side , Thanks

I have collected similar in Az and NM, it is a nice fortification agate. Good score!
Search "4th july butte agate" you will see some of the Az Forti's.

Not sure what it is Rich but its a pretty cool agate. Sure wasn't expecting it to look good inside , I was just looking for some ok stuff for an idea in the planning stages .

Tim Looked up those 4 July agates , looks very similar . One I saw even has a black crystal pocket like this one . I know that doesn't mean squat but I thought it was cool .
