Good pics might be a bit much to ask , I'm much better making rocks look pretty than making pretty pictures of rocks . But how are these ?

That is a beauty. I love the pink / purple. But I cannot say that it is the Henderson purple. And if you mean "Henderson", then I am assuming you meant "Henderson Nevada". I am not an expert though, but the exterior of your rock does not resemble what I am used to seeing. Here is some of the rocks native, and how they appear from the outside (in my experience): The matrix is very consistent. Also, inside, the slabs end up looking something like this: With it turning into rose colored, burgundy reds, browns, and muddy purples for some: And out here, it is called Amethystine, yes. Not an expert. Just thought I'd throw this out there.

Also, Victor, what you have actually looks a great deal like the Henderson rock. I have found some that tumbled out exactly like that. I will do a post on them some time in the future.
It should be noted that I believe this rock needs to be stabilized. The ones that I found which have muted purple tones, at one time probably had vibrant color. And the ones which I find have had portions of the rock which has seen some obvious sunlight, have this lighter tone, exactly.
I am researching the process of stabilizing (resins, acetone's, and ratios). If I ever get the time, I am going to post an inquiry on the RTH to get expert advice some time soon.
[Edit] Also, the dendrites in your samples are a dead giveaway (Magnesium influence).

NevadaBill, the single piece of this rock I purchased 50 years age was extremely hard and easily polished in the vibe with no under cutting. It appeared to have been mined from a larger seam and looked like the interior of the rough sample in the 9'o'clock position. I didn't normally purchase anything other than plumes, woods, and picture rocks but liked the color on this piece and purchased it. I probably forget the name 5 minutes after purchase and didn't make the cabs until 5 years ago. I do think the lavender material you have might make some great cabs without stabilization.
