I cut this material for a friend. He said it came from the old Rock shop that used to be at the Grand Canyon. Does anyone have an idea what it might be. And where should I post if I were to start a thread looking for information on the rock shop that used to be at the Grand Canyon. Thanks Dry Dry

My friend has about 10 to 20 thousand pounds of material in his yard that he told me was given to him about 7 years ago by the wife of the owner of "the old rock shop that used to be at the Grand Canyon" after his passing. People have been stealing the material out of his yard for that entire 7 years and even had a couple old shopping carts parked in the vacant field next to his property. I have just recently went to see this treasure, but the rocks are covered in mud and it would take a lot of effort to actually figure out what he has. I stuck mostly to slabs that were there for the first visit.

Thanks alikat218 Looks like a match to me. Looking at some of the other slabs of this material I think you found it.
