I have been using rotary tumblers for 3 years. I have a Lortone Model 3A and a double 3lb drum Chicago Electric. I buy most of my rough online but find some while hunting and fishing. I tumble for fun but am acquiring a real interest in cabbing. I can't afford a cabbing machine yet but hope to in the future. I have been lurking this forum for a couple of months and learned quite a lot from some of your informative posts already.

Welcome from Michigan. I'm not sure that "geodey" is a word, but welcome anyhow.

Welcome from Michigan. I'm not sure that "geodey" is a word, but welcome anyhow. Come on now Rob stick to the stuff (math) that most of us can't understand. I DO understand geodey and can even use it in a sentence - Sometimes I feel geodey all over from head to toe and know it's time to cut rocks!

Hmmm... I was thinking it would be used more like this:
"Hey, this rock feels pretty light for its size. I hope it's geodey inside!"
