So, I am trying to prioritize which pieces of equipment I should concentrate on learning how to use first.
In the past I have used a rotary tumbler and a foot powered, home made, "cabbing machine/grinder". Also used the tile saw to cut tile only.
Here is the equipment I will be able to work with in the very near future: A Lortone combo unit with the end polishing pad. A flat lap. A Lot-O. My tile saw.
I do not want to jump in and try learning how to best use all at once. My thoughts are the Lot O and combo unit first. I have plenty of slabs and pre form cabs.
What do you think? I can post photos of all equipment if needed. Thanks.

Honestly, there isn't too much of a curve for any of them. All it takes is the doing. Of all, I think the flat lap might the hardest to use. I'm speaking for myself here, but I have a hard time with the flat lap after learning on wheels first. Maybe it would be better to start with the lap. It was hard to undo the muscle memory from the wheels. The flat lap and wheels use much different techniques.
