Our life this Spring has been different than any other. We are getting more yard work done. Connecting with each other in our little family. Getting some structure and order going. Gaining weight also . With nice weather arriving, it’s hard to find jumbo marshmallows etc. jamesp is selling fire pits like hot-cakes. The ATV trail past our place is very busy. Spoke to service damager about work, when the girls school is finished on May 8, I can return to work and start getting the PPP full wage vs the .67 I make as a teacher. I hear Eau Claire (bigger town near us) will not be enforcing the lock down any longer. Lots to process. My cousin in ID who has 6 chilluns, whole family likely has COVID. Says it hurts to breathe. Overall, I have learned things about what is important in life, I really value time at home more now. #randomthoughts...

I like the random thoughts and I'll be praying for your cousin and for you to return to work
Life has a way of showing us what we should value and what is worthy of our time and what isn't
Much love ❤

Right on Evan! My random thoughts on such I think it’s a good thing that the world as slowed down Perhaps not under these conditions particularly Nonetheless for all my decades and before its been hustle after the all mighty dollar No time to breath, smell the roses, ect... In the meantime: serious damage is being done to the Earth resources & other living being ect... Collectively perhaps-- we can take this space to make better decisions about the future Hopefully The other alternative is not to cheery... ED ETA O and I don’t want to be mis -read I’m all for productive humans Yet its probably time for major rethinking of how We go about that business

When I was a night guard, I told people I was an Obscurity Guard! Lynn

He’s actually a keeper, a good one. But the typo was intentional, just grubby tech slang. Lol

Just got back from a big explore in grandpas back 40... There’s two railroad beds (1 is a siding) with 48” culverts going under them, the culverts are full of gravel and we had a jolly time. We also found a hillside spring that I hadn’t known about. Such a beautiful day.

I am tired Evan. I have no use for big income. This has been an exciting victory for my business but I want it back the way it was. However I do need the income to finance the addition to our tiny cabin my dear wife has put up with for 3 decades. She sees me working my butt off to do the business and be general contractor and heavy laborer for 3 months straight. She has been helping me and is tired too. It has brought us closer in struggling together to accomplish a needed goal. And we have been taking Sundays off and inviting stay-at-home neighbors over for distanced social engagements. I could see a larger family benefitting from a slow down. America is too too busy creating a lot of neglect in the valuable family unit. Many European countries have a 4 to 6 week national shut down to revive the citizens. They have been around for a long time. Perhaps they have it figured out well.

knave stay safe. I saw where Rice Lake is probably opening, but the rest of the County will remain basically closed. Prayers to your Cousin's family.

I'm with Evan, I definitely like the slower pace, and the additional family time. Right now the kids and I just got back from a bike/scooter ride, and now they are making a fort in the laundry room. Luckily we are all healthy and fully employed. The 8 year old misses school and her friends a lot though. I am down to half a bag of jumbo marshmallows, but we are pretty stocked up on everything else. 3 year old will go back to daycare in a few weeks. I wonder if all of the kids summer camps will be cancelled, or if they will go on as planned?

Alas, knave is afflicted with the rock pox. He is prone to spend too much on rocks, traveling to look for rocks and equipment to make nice things out of rocks.

My daughter tested positive and has been sick for almost a month. Its really hard to not have anxiety over it and not being able to see her 😞
