Hi. I literally just got my first tumbler delivered today and after a few months of research can’t wait to get started (although I have to wait for my grit and media to arrive -_-)

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! What kind of tumbler did you get? Do you have your first batch picked out yet?

Welcome...I am just a few batches ahead of you. Lesssons I have learned: batch 1 - don’t mix rocks of different hardness; batch 2 - burnish those babies ; batch 3 - barrels will leak if you don’t take the time to clean them really really well; batch 4 - is running stage 4 right now. I have been both delighted and frustrated...enjoy your new hobby...Rocket

Welcome from the Desert Southwest!
I think that once you start to see how beautiful the rocks can become after spending time in the tumbler, that you will be hooked on rocks like I was only a short time ago!
Which reminds me. It's no longer 115F degrees in my garage. It is time to kick off the season of tumbling again!
