9. I love the duck in #9! And the blue streaks, too. That is some incredible looking material! Great variety of colors and patterns and it looks like it polishes up nicely, too.

saxplayer - I've got to ask, is this self-collected? If not, do you mind sharing your source? I totally understand if you don't want to share the source though.

I was supposed to go down there to collect this fall, but the border never opened for casual car crossing. After seeing your samples, I really want to go now.

LOL I can just see some amazing cabs coming out of this material. Literally every single picture of each tumble of yours, I could see a cab being made out of it! They're really awesome!!!

Grant, those are some beautiful tumbles! There are some real trophies in there. Particularly fond of the blueish quartz streaks with the red and black in pics 1, 4 and 9. I have some 'keepers' in my collection like that.
I love this material, like you, and it is one of the few dig sites relatively close to me. If you ever decide to pick your own, let me know and I'll meet you there. We had a good time on the RTH dig there and a return trip is on my list.
Hope you're well!

Hope you continue to be well. If I ever can make it there I will certainly let you know. The material never disappoints.

Wow I had no idea Ohio flint was so varied. Sadly over the years I have ignored this material as it is “flint” and never gave it a chance, even skipping over articles in the old periodicals about it. Not anymore! Now I want some!

We went there last summer and picked a couple hundred pounds. Wondering if you heat treated it?
