Can remember who coined the description but I like it! Moroccan seam agate

Nice silver work and really like the larger ring stone.

I think it may have been Pat who coined that phrase.

Yes. hummingbirdstones. This seam agate is much nicer than the local Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper.

That is a spectacular looking set Bill! I like the posts you did on the earrings and the "rope" that's around the setting in the ring.

jasoninsdThe "rope" is made from 2 pieces of 20 gauge silver wire that are twisted together. Soft or annealed wire works better. You could probably incorporate twisted wire into your wire wrapping

Yes. hummingbirdstones . This seam agate is much nicer than the local Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper. The rough of this material really did not look very promising. I was asked for earrings made from Moroccan material so I gave it a try. Happy with the results. That said I must admit that some of the MHPJ that I have seen on this site is off the charts beautiful.

brotherbill. I must have missed it. A friend has a collection of poppy jasper from around the world. Lovely. Not MHPJ.

Beautiful set! I love the earrings! Are the posts made from a shot plate? If so, you did a killer job!

As I was looking at it yesterday, my mind was turning as to how I could incorporate that into a wrap!

Beautiful set! I love the earrings! Are the posts made from a shot plate? If so, you did a killer job! Thanks. The posts are made with a Tucker Tools shot plate. I struggle with the shot plate at first. After I started using a stump for the base, things improved dramatically!

I don't even know the right words to describe your fine silver work. I will say: elegant, precise, and professional. Thank you for sharing.
