Oh, I know it! I recall having to wait months for a couple of things I bought from him, but I did eventually get everything I paid for. I wonder what ever happened to him. Haven't seen his tag on the boards in quite a long time.

This will be a medium flat-rater of mostly tumbling-size rocks with a few larger ones. Years ago, when I got this from "Michael John", he called it "Boysenberry Agate", but it all looks like jasper to me. I have no idea where it was originally found or mined, although some of it does resemble some Burro Creek that I've seen. Many of the rocks have bands of color, others have spots. The few of these that I've tumbled over the years turned out very pretty in various shades of lavender, and they took a very glossy shine. I'm offering this lot for $40 $30 $30, shipping included. The batch: Thanks, Tom

This is still available, and only $40! I had this batch for years and never really paid attention to it. Now that I'm getting out of the hobby, I find it, and wish I'd noticed it sooner. There's some really pretty stuff in here!

I understand - and thanks for the explanation! I could write a book of my knowledge of rock identification - it would take about half a page!
Thanks, Tom

Tommy, I think you've nailed it. The majority of the slabs I took from this rock (about 10 or so) were not quite as vividly colored as this one. The cab in the link you gave looks precisely like most of the slabs. Stone Canyon! Thanks!

Randy, I'll do the invoice in a few minutes. Thanks.
Did you see my other box of all reds? I don't know how I had all those for 3 or 4 years and kept bypassing them when I was choosing what to slab next.

This is a medium flat-rater full of mostly cutting-size rocks with a few tumble-size rocks. Every rock in this batch is either all red or has a red component, as can be seen in the photos. A mixture of jaspers and agates, I'm offering this for $40, shipping included. Some pictures. First, the whole batch, dry: And wet, from overhead and at an angle: And a few closer-up photos. (Good camera, crummy photographer!) PM me, please, if you're interested. I'm trying to clean up my place, and all my rocks have to go. Thanks, Tom

Reduced price to $40. Surely somebody needs a good bunch of rocks for cutting slabs? There's lots of good color and patterns in this batch, although I don't know the names of most of it. I do know that the 2 biggest rocks are moonstone from Montana, that I aquired from "Spokanetim" a few years back. Should be a lot of nice slabs in here. And there are quite a few smaller rocks that I added as I packed the box, to fill in the spaces. It's about 25 pounds, making it less than $2/pound, including shipping.

I found this large rock among a huge assortment I obtained several years ago. When I started cutting it, I was amazed at the pattern. I've never really seen anything that looks like this. I do know it's very stable, and hard- probably 6.5 or 7 MOH's. I have no idea where it was originally hounded. Just looking for a name for it, other than "pretty rock" or "idontknowite". It's the larger slab in this picture. Thanks Tom

This is a medium flat-rate box of moonstone, with some amazonite mixed in. The pieces range in size from bumbling rough to good-sized slabbing rocks. I obtained some of these from "naturenut" and some from "spokanetim", years ago, and never got around to using them. Now that I'm getting out of the hobby, I'm offering them at $30, including shipping. First pictured dry: And wet: I take PayPal only, U.S. shipping only. Thanks, Tom
