How would this differ from the monthly cab contest that Glenn produces? Could be redundant not to mention an interest splitter. its a one time winner takes all ! how would you figure it would interfer with the other contest ? it go's on every month

normally i would say yes but i talked with a guy last weekend and some agates he found on his mountain property this last summer it looks just like yours out side and in after we face cut it! The general area is south central Washington ! This all came about after this guy needed his radiator repaired he seen the polished agate i had on my desk ! so this next spring were going to go dig the Agate out of this area and bring some to market

I have learned to never cut for friends. Plus, I'm learning oil is expensive. It's not the blades,.it's the oil. I get about 200 cuts between cleaning and then need to spend $100+ on replacement oil (even after filtering), and 4-5 hours labor each time, I want to save my oil for me. It's all mine. The only exception is if a friend visits and we can hang out and have a meal and shoot the breeze too. THAT is worth it! Ha! I would have to disagree cutting for friends is what this hobby is all about! some of the best stuff i have in my collection came from cutting for friends and im sure they can say the same about me

I think there are about 6-8 vendors open for business and a few more are getting there. I really like the slower pace, might have to come early more often. Tony you need to stay home so we can go ride those sleds

I keep telling my wife it was easier keeping my first car - a 68 Impala - running than it has been to keep this rock saw running. I'm on my second third set of bearings in two years in my vintage (refurbished) 18" Highland Park saw - I replaced them this morning. I followed the Highland Park Saw Blade Alignment video on Youtube as close as I possibly could without a dial indicator. Visually, the blade is pretty damn close to perfect and it cut smooth and clean ... ... for three cuts. Now the bearings are making popping noises again Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??? I was told these self-aligning bearings come packed with grease - I wasn't supposed to pack them was I? There is nowhere on the Ebay listing to indicate if they were supposed to be packed or not. i had this problem once so instead of ordering the bearings on line i went to our local store and he got me some high grade set 140 dollars later i have not had a problem since ! and do not grease those or youll ruin them
