Not sure if you call that a cab or a formed slab. Either way it is really cool!

Only guaranteed fire ant killer is.... Take two 6 inch 2x4 blocks, place ant on block, smash other block on ant, repeat as many times as necessary !!! It works wonderfully and it is cheap!!! ROFLMAO This works fine except for the other 50,000 fire ants going up my pants legs while I'm smashing that one!

Bought half a 5 gallon bucket of Oregon thundereggs. Unfortunately the only location I have on them is "Oregon". Still fun to cut though...

You have a lot of patience Rob. The one in picture 5 on the right is hands down my favorite. Number 13 sure looks like botswana agate. Whole batch are keepers. Picture number 11 looks like it has small impact marks. I might be seeing some in other pictures like 10 and 13. Seems like jamesp has talked about that pattern showing up on rocks before. How much ceramic did you have in this batch? Chuck I thought that too about #13, but the brown streaks/marks on the opposite side look awfully montanaesque........

Immensely savable! Cab it. Very pretty. Thanks for the tip about rolling a too-big rock. Sounds good Very good tip on the rolling. Got some stuff too big for my slab saw, and this may work to rough cut into manageable sized pieces!

I have to go with the bloodstone, this is what that material is supposed to be! Everything I've seen on the market over the past 20 years either has no red, or else the red is in big blobs.
THIS stone looks like stuff from the 1970s!
