It look like serpentine from the area NE of Globe Az. Hit it with a buffer and some Zam, should take a mirror polish.

We have a similar type near Payson Az. They call it Zebra agate, some type of rhyolite nodule.

Thanks! Brought a smile to my face. He sure loved his Ladmo bag. I had encountered references to his Ladmo bag and always wondered what the word "Ladmo" meant. Can anyone enlighten me? There use to be a early morning kid show staring Ladmo and Wallace. They would give Ladmo bags away that were packed with goodies.

Managed to get a few cuts yesterday, here is a slab of fluorite I picked up in Tucson this year. Show us what you slabbed this weekend.

Nice score! I have been eyeing that saw for a while. What brand is the 20? It kind of has a lortone look, but not.

Cut a nice thin slice, about half as thick. See if you have turtle back or iris, looks like you should see some turtle back.

The material from this place is crazy, every slab has a different look. Here are two other pieces from the same location.

I was doing a little spring cleaning, found this one tucked away. All fractures are healed, this material typically sells as fawn stone, from the Globe, AZ area. There is a lots of variations in this stone, it is fun to cut.
