The pendant's proportions are very good, especially for an elongated stone. Your bail size is just fine. Your stone with its setting is the hero.
You mentioned that the stone was somewhat "free formed", but in the setting it looks symmetrical and well-cut.

I have to make two 14K pendants for a nephew's wedding, one for his bride and the other for his sister. I can make the settings but I'd rather purchase the bails. I just logged into Rio and I am presented with Wholesale pricing for quantity 1.

1. I have no idea where I got this, so I don't know what its name might be. It might have been from a slab in a random parcel.
2. And, With its small pattern, I wonder if it's more correct to call it a plume agate or moss agate.
