Hi! Welcome back! Interesting. Reminds me of Wattās Towers in Southern California.

Well Thunder69 , looks like I missed you by about an hour, lol. That place is pretty cool, even if it is in Iowa. Thanks for sharing pics on the rock conglomeration! That was definitely a labor of love. I realize you are just passing through, John, but thanks for dropping in. It's been awhile since you posted and I saw your avatar with Thunder. I miss seeing him, as I'm sure you do. Take care, John, don't be a stranger! And say hi to your brother, Brian. Hope he is doing well. They even have a website with more photos and facts about the place. Fantastic! www.westbendgrotto.com/The place is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!

Thanks everyone .. we have been doing pretty good. Brother Brian is doing good ,he is still up in Wyoming and dose some occasional hunting.i was up there in May and we hit the agate flats and cedar rim area . Crazy life happend . our Mom passed away suddenly at the end of 2019 and Dad died in a car wreck in June of 2020 it hit pretty hard and took the wind out of us for a bit..we found out just before dad passed that three kids we grew up with were our half brothers and sister..Ancestry , bringing skeletons out of the closet since day one..but that is a story for another day..lol Rock Karma..I was thinking of this a few weeks ago.might have to resurrect it sometime Beefjello.. When I was in Iowa I did stop and stay in Keokuk .we went over to Hamilton Illinois to Jacob's Geodes and did a bit of hunting. Pics are of the dig site .my wife and me in selfie form..lol.she found her first one in about 10 minutes.me getting down and dirty and the haul..we had a blast.. Well hope yall enjoy the update ...

Wow John, Iām so sorry to hear you lost your folks. I really feel for you and wyobrian bro. Rock Karma has to be a positive step forward in the healing process. It looks like you and the Missus had a great trip and found some righteous looking Keokuk rough! These are geodes with lots of crystals inside, no? Have you cut any of them open yet?

There are crystals and solid formations and botryoidal formations. I just cut a few open this morning...
