Has anyone used battery powered LED lights to backlight small, polished rock slabs?
I had to purchase some of these for wreaths I need to make for work.

There is bare wire between the lights. They are cool.
Turns out I found a package of 12 for $2.00 more than a package of 6. So I got 12. I only needed 6 for the wreaths.
Have been experimenting on how to position and attach them to the back of slabs.

I just taped them to the back of a slab on the photo.
Am thinking it would be better to bend the wire, so the lights are spaced out more.
Then attach the lights to a backing of sorts.
Use something to space the backing at least 1/4" from the slab.
That way, there should not be blobs of light, but more even light.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
