Date: October 27. 2022 Weather: Sunny, clear sky, 62 °F Destination: The litte stream Nudelgraben in the AmmergebirgeTools arrived over the weekend and on Thursday morning it was time to get to action. Went well for this basically being my first time getting into the fossil thing. Brought home a lot of material. Worked on some and discovered quite a bit of stuff inside.
Still there is a lot left that will keep me busy picking trough for the next weeks. I'll definitely be back there next week. Further up the stream, the landscape gets even more interesting and there are quite a lot more "fossil rocks" to work on. Wish everyone a great week and as much of free, happy time outside as possible!

Gabriel_GERThat coral sure is cool. I'd like to see more closeup pictures of those please. Danke If you want help with ID's, there's several European collectors over at thefossilforum.com

Also, the brownish-tan rock with the red protrusion on top is really intriguing. Great photos and scenery as always! Thanks for taking us along for the hike.

My legs are tired just looking at the trip you made! LOL I loved the picture of what looks to be an old wooden bridge that collapsed... Congrats on hauling home some fossils! The coral really does have amazing patterning to it!!

Way to go Gabriel_GER, looks like you're caught the fossil collecting bug. And bringing home some nice specimens.
That coral is way cool, and the full clam jumped out at me.
Great looking trip, thanks for taking us along.
Patty .... wishing she was local and could go too !

Thanks a lot and I'll see if I can edit the original treat accordingly.
