My fingers are pretty sore after polishing, probably not as bad as yours though lol! Nah...ours are probably equally hurting today...I just whine louder about it! LOL One of the reasons I like this one so much...I think this could be seen as masculine or feminine...gender neutral I guess you call it now. ETA - Basically I'm saying I'd wear this...but I wouldn't wear one of the wraps I make! LOL |

jasoninsd I have some jewelry ideas for myself, but they’re mostly just silly stuff that I think would only make someone laugh at me when worn lol! You should definitely make yourself some wire wrapped bling. I really do want to make myself some wraps to wear...but I seriously can't think of a wrap style that would be "manly"...other than a groove wrap. I've looked for ideas, and it seems there's quite a few people who are stumped on how to make a wire-wrapped piece that isn't feminine. I did see some wraps that looked like barbed wire where the person said that was the "manliest" wrap they'd done! LOL |

Re masculine pendants: male friend makes big pendants (just the stone), drills hole near the top, uses suede rope to hang around his neck. Stones are always bigger than usual, domed and polished on both sides. Looks good.

it is one of my rants and why rock isn't worn enough another thing that wrong w/ world these days and why us lapidaries are at rock bottom ...mostly anyway don't want to hijack of course this come form a guy who wears his rock'n heart on his sleeve just try to knock it off  my legs are still fast |
