Nate isn't too sure if he has already shared these, and I didn't feel like digging through past posts. I'm sure someone may remember Nate's grandpa found these farming his land in Waupaca County. They are quartzite, chert and I believe the dark one is agate. The large one is a scraper of quartzite

I don't remember seeing them - but they are so cool they'd be worth seeing again anyway.

Very cool and such a variety. Any idea what time period they are from?

Maybe jamesp could help with dating. 2nd photo, 3rd from right, looks like Hixton Quartzite. I have some points made from that material.

A couple may delve back to the Archaic era, +/-2500 and older, hard to say. The one to the left of the blacker point sure looks like it is made of some fine sugar quartzite. Sweet artifacts Nate and Alison.

There is a Raspberry Quartzite that is common in the area. I'm pretty sure that's what the scraper is. It definitely stands out
I've yet to research them further. I'll have to save that for a winter day.

I don't remember you posting, either. His grandfather found some nice ones. I would walk right past a scraper if I stumbled across one.
