Cool finds. Maybe that little perfect sphere is petrified dung beatle dung?? 🤣 There’s another post here, I think over in the coprolite thread with a video of dung beatles rolling their dung. I like the petrified “palm wood” and “octopus suckers”. Hopefully you get some good ID’s. I gotta start looking for estate sales…🤔

The last one in the first series of pics looks like a pile of petrified human ears.

ericabelle I never knew you could lick a "rock" to determine if it is indeed a rock :-)

I don't know about the rest but, 3 looks like some sandstone, 6 looks like fossilstone of some kind and 7 looks like bone, but it could be palm- looks like gem bone, though.

If it is gem bone, it sure looks nice.

So what do different materials feel like? I can tell candy and chocolate apart, but that's about it :-) Is bone "sticky" and rock "slick"?

I can tell candy and chocolate apart, but that's about it :-) Is bone "sticky" and rock "slick"? I'm no expert, but I had read that if you lick bone, it will "grab" your tongue because of the bone's porous structure. This is actually the first time I've been able to test that out. It really does make your tongue stick to it - a very noticeable difference! Now, the rock #7 that rockjunquie said looks like bone did not make my tongue stick to it; so I don't know if it is not always true with bone fossils, or if that means it is definitely not a bone fossil. And, yes, I know you all think I go around licking rocks all the time now.....but I'll just let you all think that

Haha, this was funny!
Sorry I can't help with any definitive identification, but those rocks are seriously cool!

Thanks, hypodactylus - hopefully I can find out what they are! (And hopefully I don't have to lick them any more.) Feeling strangely full...

Number 6 looks like a small piece of a clam/mollusk death plate - if slabbed people call it devil's toe nails Number 7 is fossil coral

I have no real knowledge on teeth except seeing spinosaurus teeth for sale. They look a lot like what you have. For dinosaur teeth they are somewhat common because they would regularly shed and grow back like sharks.
