I have two Nat Geo 3lb capacity rotary tumblers. One of the lid seals/boot gaskets is badly torn. The only replacement barrels I could find are 2lb capacity, and definitely can't find replacement lid seals. The closest appears to be Lortone 45C but that would be a little too big. I bought a can of Flex Seal but it was like $32 bucks and I'd rather buy a new barrel for that money--let alone the mess I imagine I'd make.
Anyone else having trouble with this kind of stuff? It could be supply chain issues, or just as likely the Nat Geo tumblers aren't really expected to be used long enough to need replacement parts on the market.
Any lid gasket repair success stories? Not sure if I should wait it out or pop the lid of the Flex Seal and have a go at it.
Thanks!

Over the last week I've done little else than researching tumblers. I ordered a lortone 33b yesterday. I mention this because there is no part that isn't easily ordered for either the 33a or 33b. If I were you I would call it on that barrel and use the parts from the one tumbler set as parts for the other. Right now therockshed has 33a at 112.00 and the double at 155.00. I think the barrels are 35 normally. Just might be cheaper to call it on that nat geo.

I had a Chicago Electric that wore out those lid seals like crazy. I used simple inner tube patch kits to repair them. Kept them running for about a year before I upgraded. By the time I gave them away the seals were more patch than seals lol
