Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the great information thus far in my journey.
I have been having some trouble getting replacement parts for the above-mentioned rock tumbler. I tried looking to see if this has been addressed already, but didn't find a post. Apologies if this is a repeat.
Lortone Gem Sparkle Rock Tumbler - Model: 1.5E-NR -- 115/AC 60HZ 20 Watts .40 amps Patent No: 3,765,131
I've tried to get a new belt and not once, but twice, have received the wrong size.
When I try to look up equivalency or what's similar, this particular Model Number never seems to be on the list. Even on the Lortone site.
It's a pretty old guy, probably 40 plus years old.
I need a new drive belt and I'd like a couple more barrels for it. But first, the drive belt. Any advice on getting the correct part? I'd settle for a belt from pretty much anywhere McMaster, Hardware store, etc.
Was wondering if this particular model has since changed names or Model numbers, if you know what I mean.
Any advice is appreciated!

If the belt was round, try an O ring. Use a piece of string to go between the pulleys as a belt would do, measure the string, find an O ring that's about the same size.

Agree. O-Ring. I have a Lortone 33B Gem Sparkle and the O ring works fine.
As for other parts, most current Lortone ones should work.
