Starbond update: 😊 I have figured out a really good Way(90%) effective to seal slabs with starbond. Without the excess grinding, and multiple Application technique of 2part epoxy like art resin.
I soak the pieces in simple green and water 50/50 For a week Dry em off and blow dry em with compressed air.. I then hit them with the 100 grit dry wheel So all the hairlines appear clear as day.
I clean them off.. then put them under 250 heat lamp…. Fill the cracks with medium starbond, Leave them under the lamp For an hour Then come back and get any spots i missed. And hit it with the accelerator. Let cure for a day at least … 2 is better. Then I go 220.. 320… 600 Then cerium. Dont go back to 100 Cause it will rib the glue out.
Hope this helps.. I will show some pictures of finished pieces… Actualt the videos are better

Wow! That's an excellent shine Paul! It looked like that slab was pretty fractured before treating. Do you think you'll ditch the Art Resin for Starbond moving forward?

Saw that amazing slab on FB yesterday. So, did you only apply the Starbond to the cracks and nothing on the rest of the slab?

With the cerium- after which wheel do you use it?
That polish is CRAZY!

OK, I know you didn't use a nova wheel. Which GRIT do you use it after?
LOL! I see you answered it- never mind. Duh.
