Nice shop and great photos. I like Etsy because it is easy to use and has a lot of visibility. I haven't had to deal with the Etsy issues. The biggest issue is customers finding your shop. My approach was to have less common materials. When someone is looking for a tiger eye pendant, there are so many search results, finding your shop is unlikely. Searching for a Prairie agate pendant has fewer results and once your shop is found customers will look at your other items. Your items are more expensive than mine so shipping cost is less relevant. I sent out my first orders priority mail, but unless it is a very large order I ship first class with is usually less than $4 and all my listings have free shipping and I build that into the price. I meant to mention before that after reading the mad badger story, I will no longer complain about having to walk a few miles and climb over rocks and climb up and down bluffs to get a good Petoskey stone.  |

Wow, your shop looks great. You have got way more listings than I do and I've been on Etsy for a while. Actually I moved most of my wire wraps over to goimagine.com which is a new marketplace like Etsy only more like what Etsy was like when they first started it.

Actually I moved most of my wire wraps over to goimagine.com which is a new marketplace like Etsy only more like what Etsy was like when they first started it. Good luck on the new shop. Please keep us informed about problems you encounter along the way. The issues like setting up a bank account, holding up payments, hijacking your photographs, and some others have been mentioned. Where there is a problem we need to find a solution, make it a bump in the road.
