I know throughout the history of the world, there have been numerous civilizations which have existed...and barely left any trace of their existence...if at all. Sad to see what impact humans are having on the earth in just the last hundred years...

When the temperature rises, this plastic melts and becomes embedded with the beach’s natural material.”
-- FROM ARTICLE
Bullshit. That plastic does not melt at any temp that animals can survive in. Someone built a fire and that is how that was created. Either that or this is bullshit, made up crap from some sort of eco-freak group(s).

Nylons has a melting point of approximately 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Even in the sand, the beaches in Trindade aren’t getting that hot. Being that this is on CNN, a news source who has constantly lied and fabricates material regularly, I’m thinking this is climate change propaganda. Lmfaooooo look at the second pic and zoom in. The green shit that I’d supposed to be nylon net, looks exactly like yarn. I would be willing to bet money, some dickhead at CNN took a lighter you yarn and melted some sand and stone in to fabricate that picture. Try it out yourself, yarn melts just like that.

The plastic rocks probably drifted in from somewhere else where there was a heat source capable of melting the material. Dumping of some previously burned waste or from a fire on a ship or maybe even exposed to some high-temp volcanic activity. That or maybe someone is attempting to duplicate jamesp method for building custom tumbler barrels and not having much success!!

Also note that the article used the word "terrifying" to describe these plastic rocks. So did these rocks have long fangs, did they attack folks? are they banding together to form a gang?

I think it’s time we ban fish. If there were no fish there would be no fishing nets. Problem solved.

And this is why we can't have nice things. People wreck things, then they wreck them more for views.
Man, humans really do suck sometimes.
