For anyone that hasn't got a chance to experience a solar eclipse, I highly recommend trying it. I made a road trip in 2017 tot he Illinois/Kentucky border and the experience is surreal. One of the most mind blowing parts for me was the shadows just before or after full eclipse. Anyone in the path of totality? Solar Eclipse MapsI’ve got a picture like that, but yours is much better! From August 21, 2017.

The leaves block the light waves, but the "holes" between leaves act like pin holes in shadow boxes, so those are millions of images of the sun as it eclipses. Thanks for explaining that, Dave! I had no idea how it happened, only that it was cool.

Beautiful pictures Son Of Beach ! Even if you didn’t get to see the eclipse. Long time since I’ve been in that area so it was fun just to see the gorgeous scenery. 👍

Great pics Thunder69 ! What did you take those through? I had an old pair of viewing glasses that I cut in half and it fit perfectly over my phone camera..I was able to see it pretty well on my phone screen
