ahhh now i remember ed the second pic the thin one is some of that black jade from aust. i just got the other one i think is a slab off a 50 lb chunk i got when i first strarted tumblin i got it from that boom-boom guy on ebay he said it was some kind of host rock from the gold mines in the black hills its kinda soft so go easy he told me to look for quartz streaks in it with gold flakes but never found any of what i cut,, but most i have is in two big chunks still in storage hahaha ----4th pic is picasso jasper also soft but cool when done
last pic black chunk at the bottom is texas flint i got from llana polishes up nice

I keep looking at this stuff and decided I don't have a favorite-they're all great looking slabs and chunks.

Hi Cookie. Gettin the urge to get overboard in this tumbling thing again? That first one is a petrified stogie, Cuban I believe. Just kidding, it's a piece of red coral. John cut a beautiful cabajohn out of the same material.
