Hi all. These 2 cabs are from the jade I picked up from Tony. Although the pics don't show the colores well, these are both a mixture of green and blue jade. I had some problem with undercutting on the larger one, but I think it came out okay. Here ya go Tony. they really look better in person. Ed

Ed those are absolutely beautiful. Get to wrapping, they are calling out to be cuddled in gold.

Great job on the jade Ed. They look darn fine to me and the color is excellent. That Tony finds some good jade down there in the briney deep and you did a fine job finishing it up!....mel

Thanks everyone. They really do look much better in person. Tony-I'll try and get some more done this week and I can bring them all over to you at one time. Any preferences on size or shape?

Had to look at those again, they came out killer ! No rush Ed, more like that will work. You really turned those ugly slabs into a work of art, let me know when you run out.

Tony-I've got 2 smaller teardrops started for earrings to match the larger teardrop pendant. I'll just do a variety of shapes for you.

I'm sorry Stephan, that's a trade secret-just kidding. Thanks for the compliment. The outside curve is just by eye, but the inside curve is just the shape and size of an 8" grinding wheel. It's an old trick I learned from woodworking. In woodworking, when doing freeform curves on mouldings or other decorative parts, if possible, make them the size of the drive roller of your belt or edge sander. Simplifies the process alot.
Well, I gotta go play with some more jade.
