What are those clear agates about halfway through? Those are so cool looking.
And the yellow chalcedony? Pardon my terrible guess if it's not that.

Quite nice!! so many different varieties! I have a MLA in my tumbler now that looks similar to what you've shared here - with the round divots - my piece has a druzy pocket that I'm afraid is trapping grit, but we'll see what happens on Wednesday when my batch is done Also have a horn coral that I tried to tumble - cool little specimens - love the one's you have here.

I recently completed a batch with lots of 'features' (pits, cavities, etc). I spent a long time scrubbing them with a toothbrush to try and get the white coating (presumably from the polish) out of those areas.
Looking at your photos, your 'features' look quite clean. Did you have to clean them out, or do you have some method that prevents the buildup? Looking for tips on how to avoid frustration on rocks that aren't (and never will be) completely smooth.
Again, nice rocks!

Did you have to clean them out, or do you have some method that prevents the buildup? Looking for tips on how to avoid frustration on rocks that aren't (and never will be) completely smooth. Again, nice rocks! I always fill the barrel with water and soap (borax works but dish soap is best, any kind. And fill it with lots of water where the rocks are mostly covered) let that run for at least 10 minutes but not more then 20-30 minutes or so, you don’t want the rocks to chip. Then I do my cleanout. I have mostly been running batches in 500 AO for twice as long as normal and that breaks down to polish over time and you can skip the AO polish step. The polish is harder to clean out of the pits, cracks, etc. then 500 is. Hope that helps!

That’s a great looking batch ashley. The variety is cool. I bet that was a fun cleanout. Thanks for showing.
