Hi all. I got this suprise box from Steve yesterday. He said I had mentioned long ago if he ever got anymore of the blue agate to let me know. So he packed up the blue agate with "a few" extras and sent it out to me. There is some awesome stuff in Oregon. The whole box Close ups of the different rock. These are thumbnails Some of the Oregon poppy jasper-full size pic A chunk of red and yellow jasper and a cab made from this material Words cannot say enough to describe the generosity of this guy. Thanks for the awesome rock Steve, Ed

Hey John. When my back starts acting up on me I just reach for the "VSquared". Vicodin and Vodka. Works every time.

Thanks for the kind words.....this goes for all of you (E-dog, Sands, Stoner) This is what I enjoy doing. None of you owe me nothing, it honestly makes me feel good to share what I've gotten out of this hobby. So many of you on this forum have made my Passion for this Hobby greater, just because of the people you all are. Enjoy the rocks, and it's only a matter of time, someone else will get a Mystery Holmes Box! BTW, the cab looks great Ed! Thanks for sharing your pics. Steve

Cher, Yes, I do collect all of that material locally.....with the exception of the Geodes, common banded opal, and Wonderstone....those were collected in Utah. All self-collected. All of the Jasper, Pet Wood and Agate I can find within about an hour drive from my place. I'm heading out this weekend for some more fun...Saturday and Sunday. Steve

I know what you mean, Steve's boxes are like a box of candy. The geode I got from him sits in front of my computer, it's just that cool.
