Non collectable rocks at Palo Duro Canyon, Texas ... they would not have tumbled anyway !

Plenty!!! of terrific rocks but rock collecting on Texas State Park Land is not allowed so "non-collectble".... it's mostly sandstone and gypsum so "not tumble"-able. Very photogenic though.

Plenty!!! of terrific rocks but rock collecting on Texas State Park Land is not allowed so "non-collectble".... it's mostly sandstone and gypsum so "not tumble"-able. Very photogenic though. Ooooff....I feel your pain. My feelings on the matter are a bit controversial but rockhounds (most of them) make better lovers of these locations than tourists
