Interesting Bahia Agate (from the Rock Shed). Rotary for coarse then vibratory to finish. It has a cool crystal pocket.

jone That is a really cool Bahia agate! A Bahia wrapped quartz nugget and I like it. It’s good that you stopped tumbling it earlier to avoid damaging it. I often do that with rocks that have special features that I don’t want to tumble away.

I often do that with rocks that have special features that I don’t want to tumble away. Sometimes I think that is the hardest part of tumbling - that decision and when to know enough is enough !

I just know I can always re-tumble a rock, so tend to stop earlier than later if I see a feature that I like.
