I made a heart with my dremel a long time ago and then finished it off in the tumblers. I didn't make the v area deep enough though so it's not a really good heart. It can be done without a grinder though.

Good idea Kim, and oops, I'm sorry, I'll get on that tomorrow, I promise.

Which Dremel bit do you use to cut the notch with? Is it one of the narrow SC wheels? I am new at Dremeling and not familiar with all the bits yet! Yeah I'm still reading the manual.

Hi Joe. I use diamond bits in my Dremel. Check out Lopaki.com for a good source of diamond bits.

Thanx Ed. What size diameter bit do you use to do that? I find after my drill bits (under 2mm in size) no longer drill there is still a lot of diamond on the side of the bit. I then use that bit, working with the side, to take saw marks out of crosses. Is the notch the same sort of thing only using the side of the bit more aggressively to cut. Do I need a wider bit? I promise it's my last question tonite! Thanx for sharing your knowledge and experience Ed. I appreciate it. ...more questions tomorrow...
