Rhodochrosite will turn white or clear with too much exposure to the sun. Nice job on the wrap!

It 8s a pale pink in hand and these photos do wash it out. I am home from work sick I will try different lighting and see if I can find the true look. Non the less I do believe some bleaching has happens since it was pulled from the butte mining complex.

It’s nice you at least have some energy to get some hobby time in while home sick. Whatever that is going around took me out for almost all of January. Hope you rebound much quicker! Your wrap looks good. Oddball shapes, well all shapes, are still a challenge for me. :-)
