Sorry Don, today is Friday so I checked my batch of poppy jasper but they could use a few more days. This one was almost there so I finished it off on the leather wheel. It's one of my favorites. the other side I'll check them again on Sunday or Monday and hopefully they'll all be ready. Ed ps. those white specks are dirt from the surface I took the pic on.

Holy smokes those are pretty! Gotta love that poppy jasper. Exceptional pattern on that stone. That needs to be mounted in precious metal....mel

Wow, that's a show-stopper!
Yes, give the others whatever time they need -- it's definitely a batch worth spending time on.

Damn, I have no patience for this patience thing! There's at least one more of this color in the batch but the rest of them are unique in their own way. Pace, pace, pace.....I gotta find something to do.

OOOOOOOOh. I bet you can't wait to see the rest. All of us on the rock board have been eagerly waiting to see the results of this batch. It's so vibrant and interesting. It's so hard to fathom that random geologic events come to produce rocks like that. It's so pretty. Steve
