That's a really fantastic batch of stones! Love the patterns. You did a great job on them.

Ha ha, I just replied to a post about how much I was looking forward to seeing this batch! I am blown away by it. It looks like you could sit and run your fingers through that batch for hours. Yeah, the fractures in MHPJ is biggie. Too bad some got damaged all the way into the polish stage. I now drop slabs of it on the garage floor before I cut them up just to get the surprises out of the way. It's tough to do I tell ya. I love the way all of it turned out. I like that one yellow piece with the dark rings in it. That's amazing! Actually, they are all so beautiful and colorful. They really polished up great. I'm going to go look at them some more now. Thanks all. I wish I could have done better on these, but hey, if at first you don't suceed..... That's a good idea Steve, I'll have to do that next time. I just hope I don't end up with crumbs to tumble. I know some of you have some of these rollin' now, so be sure to post the pics when they're done. Well, they did form on one of the biggest faultlines around.

There's lots of nice ones in there though and they sure are pretty but the last two pics got me. Love your helper, I can imagine just how much help she could be, tail in the face, foot in the barrel. ;D What's that pretty blue and black stuff on the plate there?

Holy poppy jasper Batman!!! Wow what a gorgeous bunch of stones! And what a variety too. That one at the bottom of the second thumbnail has a gigantic poppy pattern it it! Do you know what the dendritic piece in the big pic above the cat is? That's a very cool stone too.....mel

Cher, she's my helper until I turn on the hose, and she doesn't come back til the rocks are dry. Those blue stones are African Turquoise.
Mel, those dendretic stones are from a piece of picture jasper I got from a local rock shop. I thought they were prteey cool looking too.

Great looking stones, Ed. Even the shadows seem to take on the color.

Ed, Great lookin' batch. Lots of great stuff coming out of polish from everyone today. I really like the eyes, swirls and lines in each of those stones. Lots of Character going on there. Steve
