Where abouts are you at now? Did you ever make it through Richardsons, and the china hollow shop? Yep. Pic 1 is my Richardsons get, Pic 3 is from China hollow. Didn't get much. Don had to go to a track meet for his grandchild, said I was welcome to pick around the back of the building for $1/#. We are relaxing next to the Deschutes river for a couple days. Rainy, but temperatures are good. Surferite in Pic 1 should be neat polished. |

Just taught her to skip rocks. Hooked for life. Liv made a squirrel friend with help of some pistachios. I could have told her he'd still be her friend with some peanuts from the trail mix instead, but when he's eating out of her hand...  |

So just checked weather forecast and surprise,surprise, wind gusting to 50 mph tonight. WTH! Yesterday it was light winds guess it will be tent flapping in the wind white noise to attempt to sleep to. Oh' the adventure of it all. Hope the tent holds up in those conditions. Time to "batten down the hatches" as it were. Columbia River Gorge is kinda known for wind I guess, so here we go.

Surprisingly, it wasn't too bad, I feel certain it didn't get to 50mph, but my campground neighbors awning looks a bit mangled, so who knows.

At Tony's world famous rock yard now. Had lunch with Tony, Taco Tuesday yummy. Blown away at his massive collection and Tony's wonderful hospitality. If you get a chance come see and do this place, it's amazing. The wind is absolutely howling outside(Seems to be a theme on this trip) sun is shining but chilly with the wind. Great day to be alive.

Plus TomTom is still in the socializing training and learning that people who come over aren’t there to kill me. Randy is chill, he’s just a working line and out of control when new people come over. |

Randy is chill, he’s just a working line and out of control when new people come over. I've got one like that (socially awkward) 65 pounds of Belgian Malinois and Boxer mix named Kitty. I love calling Kitty,Kitty and watching the steam roller come running. It catches most new comers by surprise. |

Had a most excellent experience at catmandewe. Tony is great we ended up eating dinner at the local Chinese restaurant, food was delicious and great fresh veg. in the recipe. We stayed on site courtesy of Tony and his camper. Thanks a bunch again Tony. Wind was ripping (as per the usual apparently). We gathered 70+ pounds of excellent material of all kinds and headed out this morning. Due to weather and time we are officially calling it a trip and are going to make our way back home. I wanted to do Wyoming and South Dakota, but we'll have to make that another trip. Bummed, I really wanted to meet up with Jason in SD and do some hounding. I'll post some pics of the last batch when I get home. So all of you that have shared, read,commented, or we met etc. Thank you sooo much. It's been exciting,fun,and educational. I hope that if you've ever wanted to go that you'll take the time and do a trip. Thanks again RTH'ers |

Was great to meet you Ronn and your daughter Olivia too.
Glad you enjoyed the sparse accomodations, its not the Hilton but it is fun.
I was going to fix the lean on the outhouse, but its starting to lean on me. Think I will leave it.
