When I first joined RTH, I used a picture of this bowl of my Oregon Coast finds for my profile picture, but I realized I added a lot more to it over the last year. I recently split this up into some smaller bowls that I share around my workplace, but I did take a picture of it right before I did that. Now that I'm looking at it, I think I want to put it back together the way it was. The bowl is about 10-12" wide for size reference. We're pretty lucky to have so many cool rocks to go rockhounding for here in Oregon, but I might not be looking for tumbling material as much in the future now that I started to really like making cabochons. It's easier to work with slabs than these ocean tumbled pieces. Oh, and there's also some quartz and quartz type rocks in here as well (just not that much).

A great taste of Oregon. Superb polish. I'm really liking those popping red jaspers. Thanks for sharing.

Ya I like the bowl like that too. But you’d have to have a sign… Don’t mix up the colors!
