I wrapped this heart this morning. When I do these wraps with the hammered frames on the outside, I've always had a stub sticking out from the inner frame. That was where the bail would normally be. This is my first successful one with a continuous inner frame where you can't see any ends.

That’s cool.👍 I also like how your main wire wrap reaches out and holds onto the hammered frame. Do you have any shows coming up? I’ve started looking for local shows, not really knowing how to look, just figuring it out. I found a couple and hooooooolllyy moooooolllyy, they are spendy. Like 10 bucks a square foot, and spaces starting at 10x10. That’s for a weekend holiday bazaar. I will keep looking. Rock shows are more affordable but tend to attract mostly rockhounds. I’d like to find some holiday shows that attract jewelry shoppers. I know I’ve seen small ones advertised over the years, I just have to figure out how to find them now ahead of time in order to meet the vendor deadlines.

Not usually being a "heart fan" this is among the handful that I really, really like. When you say "stub" are you talking about where the inner frame ends? I've never noticed that on your wraps. Did you cover it up with binding? Please do tell! The hammered outline takes away the frou-frou of a heart--in my mind, it's the perfect match-up.

That one's a keeper - or at least a repeater ! The wrap highlights the heart perfectly. Nice one !

I thought I didn't much care for hearts or wire wrapping. Well...this changes everything.
Outrageous piece. Beautiful in every way
Thank you!

Wow! Very nice! I love the stone- it looks great with the copper. Boy! I'm late responding to these! Thanks Tela, I'm really liking the Peach Lace. I've got a nice big chunk I need to get into to 24" saw. I’d like to find some holiday shows that attract jewelry shoppers. I know I’ve seen small ones advertised over the years, I just have to figure out how to find them now ahead of time in order to meet the vendor deadlines. Thanks Khara. $100 isn't far off if they get a good crowd. I've done a $10 and a $30 show. The one I've done several of had been $80 last year but they raised their prices to $100. I pre purchased my next 2 dates to get the old price. There are some sites on line you can look for them. Usually I find them too late when the shows are being advertised because they're getting close and all the spaces are gone. I've done good in December shows with people looking for gifts. I'm signed up for a Sept show at a Blues and BBQ festival. It was $70 for a space but I've been going for the last few years and it usually cost me $50 or more for admission. I've been going to start a calendar with the shows I've missed so I can contact them earlier next year. I did apply for a renaissance faire yesterday. I'm not holding my breath about getting in. It's 6 weekends in Sept and Oct. I applied as a guest vendor for 1 weekend. The minimum for a space is $375! They take 15% of your sales with the $375 min. I had to send pics of my items, my booth, a list with shows I've done and pics of myself and helper in costume. If I get into that one I'll be raising prices. Thanks Khara. That's a great compliment. The stub can be seen on the 2 posted here. On this one I actually soldered the wires of the inner frame together and covered them with binding. Don't tell anyone it's a secret! That one's a keeper - or at least a repeater ! The wrap highlights the heart perfectly. Nice one !

I like the whole thing. Lovely! Thank you Pat. I'm glad you liked it. I thought I didn't much care for hearts or wire wrapping. Well...this changes everything. Outrageous piece. Beautiful in every way Thank you! Thank you! Another high compliment. I'm humbled. Fantastic execution on this one Gary!! Thanks Jason! I feel like this design is coming together.

rockbrain It’s interesting to hear your experiences in another part of the country. What I meant by $10 per square foot was 10x10 space = 100 sq ft x 10 = $1000! That’s for the local weekend holiday fair. Apparently in recent years they’ve begun allowing as seen on tv and the likes of vendors selling cleaning gadgets and whatnot. People complain that there aren’t many quality handmade gifts there to shop anymore. It’s a shame. I’m guessing that’s also why the price is so high. $70-80 seems more appropriate for a small handmade vendor. I’ve also seen some that require photos or social media showing past setups to be considered and chosen. And with those, like you said a higher fee. Many here also require insurance and the entity we are covering is the property owner and also city. Doing a craft show has gotten a lot more complicated than it used to be! Good luck with your application. I think your jewelry would be a great fit for a renaissance fair.👍

Wow! They're pretty proud of their shows for that rate.
